Application

The single-grain undressed dressing tool with a cylindrical shank, type M1040, is used in the profiling and dressing processes of small-sized universal abrasive wheels made of aluminum oxide and silicon carbide with ceramic bonds. However, it should not be used for dressing superhard abrasive wheels made of materials like diamond and borazon. This dressing tool is designed for maintaining the shape and sharpness of small abrasive wheels.
